This is an inert replica of one of Unabomber Ted Kaczynski's letter bombs. The yellow coil that looks like an ethernet cable is actually a piece of detcord, which is a flexible explosive commonly used in (legal) building demolition because it burns at a predictable rate of 6,000 meters per second.
